Project Progress Reporting
The Project Progress tab in the Reporting section gives you a powerful way to evaluate the overall health and completion status of projects that follow the same workflow template.
Whether you're managing dozens of client projects with the same onboarding structure or monitoring internal process templates, this view provides a side-by-side snapshot of task completion across all active projects—making it easier to spot bottlenecks, delays, and team workload at a glance.

View All Projects by Template
To get started, go to Reporting > Project Progress and select any project template from the list on the page or the dropdown in the top right corner. This will generate a spreadsheet-style matrix showing:
- Rows: Projects created from the selected template
- Columns: Individual tasks from the template
Each cell reflects the current status of that task for each project:
- ✅ Green check: Task completed
- 🕓 Blue Clock: Active Task
- 📄 Grey File: Draft Task
By default, the matrix displays individual tasks as columns. Use the toggle in the top right corner to switch to Stage view — each stage will display a progress circle along with a count of completed vs. active tasks, giving you a higher-level overview of progress across all your projects.
The header row and far left column in the reporting matrix are sticky and visible as you scroll through your projects, making it easy to keep track of which column corresponds to which task and project.
This matrix makes it easy to compare projects, spot which tasks are most often delayed, and follow up where needed to keep timelines on track. Simply click on the icon to view the task, or click the Project Name to open the project.
Exporting Project Progress Data
To export your project progress data, click the "Export to CSV" button in the top right corner of the reporting view. LaunchBay will generate a CSV file containing the full matrix for the selected template, which you can open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet tool for further analysis or reporting.
